Job Title: Production Assembler

Job Description

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the mass production of oil-free compressors. Your role will involve component parts preparation and line assembly operations, ensuring that each compressor meets quality standards and production goals.

• Place parts in specified relationships and fasten them using bolts, clips, screws, cements, or other methods.
• Tend machines such as hydraulic or pneumatic presses, air wrenches, or other tools for force fitting, fastening, and bonding operations.
• Understand and comply with quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Build and prepare wire harnesses through crimping, soldering, pinning, depinning connectors, and adding labels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.
• Record production data and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any challenges.

• Manufacturing facility (climate controlled)
• Shifts Available:
• 1st Shift 5am - 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2am
• Pay: $18.00-$18.90/hr
• Location: Tallahassee, FL

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position - benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract

Qualifications:

• Must have High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and fasteners, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of safety protocols.
• Ability to lift heavy components, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.90/hr.
