Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bobcat Parts Department Counter. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while managing parts inventory and facilitating sales transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in equipment or automotive service, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their Bobcat equipment.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and organized effectively.
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist customers with vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Engage in negotiations with vendors to secure favorable pricing on parts and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area, including stocking shelves and managing order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance sales management strategies and improve overall department performance.
• Utilize CDK for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Strong background in equipment or automotive repair or service, with dealership experience preferred.
• Proficient in inventory management practices, including retail math and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with CDK is advantageous.
• Experience in retail sales, marketing, or customer service is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining phone etiquette.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
